Sam Day Buddy Run:
Lastly and probably most importantly, I am running for two little kids who are going through cancer treatment for the Sam Day Foundation Buddy Run. I am running about 12 miles from the Doernbecher Children’s Hospital to Terra Linda and need your help! I would love to be able to fundraise $4000 in honor of these kids to be able to provide further research for childhood cancer. Did you know that the budget for cancer research has been significantly cut? and furthermore, the budget for childhood cancer research is about 4% of that! That is absolutely not ok. If we put effort in to make a change, change can be made. Please join me in this by volunteering for the event and/or donating. All donations count, no matter the size!
